WHEN: The project  began  in 2011 with a small number of baskets delivered to homes for unwed mothers in New Jersey, and again in Ohio.

WHY:  These are for the mothers who have little financial, emotional, relational, or spiritual resources, yet have made the courageous decision to become a mother. A subtle and beautiful affirmation of the sanctity of life.

Graphic designer ($150), art, printing of prayer cards ($1000 for first sets), purchase of gift baskets items (apprx $50/basket), creation and putting together of baskets—volunteer staff.
