The following are the archives from our years of the printed journal. Our ministry began with only the journal, which took us months to pull together and then I tried to sell subscriptions to this little spiritual magazine about beauty, to get the ministry going. Looking back--it was a very tough way to begin, but I loved creating it. Our graphic designer, Adriana, and I would send emails and art scans back and forth for months trying to get it just right for the printer. Then my dear friend Doris, would proof the entire magazine for us.
After about 12 issues we knew we could not afford to continue and went to our online journal, hoping to survive. It was that year that my sweet and philanthropic brother in California, sent me a donation to the ministry that allowed us to survive the next year.
It was also my brother who had an old friend contact me. Lynn and her husband Dennis, use to work for my parents at the Olympic Gold Ice Arena in Modesto, California--over 30 years ago. Lynn had begun her own marketing internet service and volunteered generous amounts of time and amazing ideas that moved us in a new direction again. Today we have all kinds of new outreach programs and a contemplative prayer blog (www.contemplative-prayer.org)
