The Abbey of Gethsemani is a school of the Lord's service, a training ground for brotherly love. It is perhaps one of my favorite places in the world. If you have never been on a silent retreat take the time to immerse yourself in the silence and warmth of God's presence. I have now driven down to Kentucky once a year, since 1996 and my time with monks of Gethsemani has changed my life. I have worked with their community of T.O.R. Sisters for ten years and I gave a retreat to the new postulants on the Myers/Briggs Type Indicator (personality profile). I have studied the MBTI for over 20 years and I am also qualified to do the MBTI for religious communities, workplaces, couples and individuals. The Sisters are currently building a beautiful new chapel on their property site and you can visit their site to see the building progress.
